Secure browser login
Sign in on StackMed and approve the link only when you started it from Anki.
Get the add-on running in a few minutes
Install from AnkiWeb, restart Anki, then link your StackMed account through your browser.
Install from AnkiWeb
Open Tools, then Add-ons and Get Add-ons. Paste 1305854360, install it and restart Anki.
Connect your StackMed account
In Anki, open Tools, then StackMed and Log in. Sign in through the browser page and approve the device.
Choose your question bank
Choose UKMLA or MRCP Part 1 in StackMed settings. Definitions and textbook links follow your selection.
Ready inside Anki
Look up selected medical terms, add glossary annotations and open matching StackMed textbook pages without leaving your cards.
Your account stays protected
The add-on is designed so Anki never handles your StackMed password directly.
No password in Anki
Login happens in your browser on stackmed.co.uk. Approve linking only if you started the login from Anki.
Scoped and revocable access
The add-on can access definitions and annotations only. Revoke a linked device from StackMed settings at any time.
Token stored locally
The token is saved in your Anki profile data and is not stored inside the add-on package.
Troubleshooting and support
Most login issues are fixed by copying the link manually or starting a fresh login from Anki.
The browser did not open
Use the copy-link button in the Anki login window, then paste the link into your browser.
The link code expired
Start Log in again from the StackMed menu in Anki to create a fresh link.
A linked device was revoked
Open Tools, then StackMed and Log in to connect the add-on again.
I still need help
Contact support, but do not send passwords, API tokens, private logs or private card content.
